Introduction

Shopper’s Voice is a customer survey site that shower you with tons of rewards from coupons to free samples that are tailored to what you like. It used to publish its surveys on paper but has since moved to an online platform.

Registration

To register, you’ll need to be a resident in Canada or the United States and be 18 years old and above. Please take note that membership is limited to one person per household.

Registration on the site is completely free. However, the initial Consumer Product Survey that is compulsory to be filled in order to become a member of Shopper’s Voice takes more than 30 minutes to complete. Users have reported as well that the survey is very repetitive.

The information you provide to the site during registration is protected by their privacy policy which only allows them to use the information to send you relevant coupons, samples and surveys. However, they do have a clause in there whereby if you give them permission (whether knowingly or unwittingly), your identifying information can be given to their clients so they can reach out to you directly or via Shopper’s Voice. The site also uses cookies which gather the data you provide (again, both knowingly and unknowingly) to send you ad a.k.a. special offers.

Earning Methods

The main way to “earn” something on Shopper’s Voice is by completing surveys. Sometimes, these surveys come along with free samples that you will be asked to “test”.

Although the name of the site may mislead you to thinking that this is a site that may have mystery shopping jobs, the site has posted a disclaimer on the front page itself stating that there aren’t any such jobs available.

Survey Quality

The survey quality at Shopper’s Voice is a bit low to be honest. Many users have reported that the surveys they get are often very lengthy and taking into account the low-value rewards they get, the time used to complete the said survey can essentially be considered as being wasted.

The frequency of surveys isn’t very high either. Some users have noted that they got nothing from the site other than ads and blog updates within the first 6 months.

However, do take note that the rewards you’ll be offered is tailored to your responses in your surveys so be sure to be as honest as possible when answering them, lest you end up with free samples that you don’t want.

Rewards

Unlike most paid survey sites, Shopper’s Voice doesn’t really pay their users for completing surveys. Instead, for most surveys, you will only earn free entries for a chance to win cash prizes or Cash Vouchers at the monthly sweepstakes, or discount coupons for products that you may not even want to buy. Some users have also mentioned that these coupons aren’t exactly high-value since you can probably find other better (and free) coupons elsewhere without needing to complete a very long survey first.

Interestingly, there are also some free coupons that you, or anyone really since no sign-up is required either, can immediately print out directly from their site. No surveys needed.

Highlights

Although this isn’t exactly a referral program per se, Shopper’s Voice allows you to share a link to any survey you complete to your friends and family via email or social media sites. Note however that you won’t be getting anything from doing so.

Conclusion

In short, Shopper’s Voice is more of a couponing site where you can get free coupons by completing surveys or even get instant free coupons. The site does send you free samples from time to time along with a survey you’ll have to complete after testing said samples. You can’t earn actual cash here, however, and due to this, we don’t really think this site is worth your time. There are other better sites out there that give free samples and coupons without needing you to complete any sort of surveys.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Free samples from time to time

  • Legitimate privacy policy

Cons:

  • Sign-up can take some time

  • Rewards mainly include sweepstakes entries and coupons. No cash

  • Lengthy and very infrequent surveys
